You can act like not handcuffing Foster ISN'T a huge mistake, but we've all been doing this long enough to know that it is…he was injured almost all of last year. Year before almost 1k yards on only 175 carrier I think lol
Foster 460 (that is not a typo) touches last year and career low in YPC, especially down the stretch. I'll take a 5.4 YPC the year before when healthy and top 10-12 RB in the event of an injury at the back end of round 9….no "sick value" there, he's a waste if Foster returns to form, etc. But well worth the "chance" he gets in some useful games at that draft pick given who was left. Quite frankly Buzz, I was shocked you didn't take him with him 1 of your 2 picks. I thought about Tate last round. Far and away the #1 handcuff in all of FF next year.

Why is not handcuffing Foster a huge mistake? Tate is in Kubiak's doghouse. Kubiak is on record saying Tate regressed significantly. Tate got carries in 2011 because Foster wasn't healthy. If Foster is 100%, Tate rides the pine.
Not to mention, there are rumors that the Texans may just trade Tate outright since he is in the last year of his contract and will walk after this year.
Sorry but finding a 3rd RB is more important to me than handcuffing the #1 RB who only has 1000 career carries and is just turning 27.

just felt like stirring the pot, boards been too dead…though I disagree with you that not handcuffing Foster isn't a mistake, time will tell I suppose.

boy, the Jaxoffs are already workin hard to make me hate my MJD pick – theyve announced zone-blocking & floated the possibility of 3rd-times-a-charm for YoGabbaGabbert. It's not quite Jints droppin Ahmad, but yeesh!

Mark is up.
I was unenthusiastically planning on taking Shon Green, but Hammer sniped me and had to go back to the drawing board. I was high on Pead as a rookie, but he didn't do much spending the season in Fisher's doghouse. If SJax goes elsewhere, I'm hoping that with a training camp to get better at the pro game he'll get a shot at being lead dog.
