Three #1 picks and a #2 – too much?
At least it's not Manning …

yes – that's a high price for even a superstar quarterback & RG3 appears to be the Mark Sanchez of '12 – a candidate who is so personally engaging that people become anxious to overlook his deficiencies.
not saying he cant or wont become the QB they want him to be (though there are substantial doubts in some scouting quarters), more that they could have gotten the pick with this yr's 1st & 2nd if Cam Newton hadnt happened last season and history will prove that Newton was more an exception than a type.
wouldnt have paid that price for the 1.01 – though i have NO idea why the Colts themselves didnt err in the name of loyalty to the man who made them, with that kind of bonanza to be had for their pick – and i like Luck hella more than Griffin.
Snyder's tried everything else & might be realising that it's time to end his team's quarter-century star drought @ QB, but this was not the best way to achieve that.

Yeah, I think that was too much. He's far from a sure thing and IMO the only way it works out is if the colts decide to draft RGIII and the 'skins end up with luck.

That could happen, but I think that would be the ultimate mind-fart by the Colts.
Pure and simple, the Skins are gambling big time, and Snyder figures he sells a shit ton of jerseys and tickets for at least the first year.

That would be, but I wouldn't be surprised if they overthink things and start falling for all the RGIII hype. It's not likely to happen but I think it's in the realm of possibility

Well, it wouldn't hurt my feelings to end up with Luck in the burgundy and gold!

Doesnt this go back to what Hot Lanta paid for Jones last year… I know about the chart… & per the chart they over paid… Only time will tell us if they over paid…would you bank it on what RGIII does… or do you bank it against the 4 players taken by the Rams

Big difference between the two. ATL was coming up 16 spots and only spent two firsts. WASH came up just 4 spots and are giving up three firsts. Plus no one was talking about RGIII last year, so he's being considered a stud based on one year. JJ was a stud for three years.

whereas the theories of the game are well established in the area of actual player value, game theory – which no aspect of any enterprise should go without anymore – knows that the value of changing a culture or putting a final piece in a puzzle is higher than mere pricetags. value is as value does. nufced

There is a .000000001% chance the Colts take RGIII over Luck

I try to never say there is no chance in the NFL Draft.
