…after the Steelers block a FG attempt. NHL has the worst officals of any sport (consistently since I first started watching them over 40 yrs ago) and it's not close, but the NFL's been getting worse and worse. How the hell do you blow a call when you're looking at a replay & it clearly shows something completely different than what you call?
Not the first time that's happened this year either…

Completely agree. I've avoided most of ESPN for 4+ years, but purposely watched a lot of their garbage Sunday night and Monday. I also watched the NFL networks Monday morning show. Neither network showed this play or even mentioned it.
WTF!!!!!
Did run into a Packer fan yesterday and he said it was a "weird call", but the right one. He said you couldn't tell if the Pitt guy actually had possession and claims you can lateral a ball without possessing it.
Green and Gold tint runs strong and deep my friends!
My favorite part of the entire deal is the amount of time it took for the officials to discuss it, then discuss with coaches before ever actually making a call.

The NFL is going down hill fast for the same reason the NHL has problems. The calls are to the subject of the person making the call. The more rules the NFL puts in rules like this the worse it will be. The NFL had at least 1 game per week like this. A call that was just BAD! I think they need to have a review booth. Guys on the field would not be involved (like college).

And again! If they call it a turnover on the field, it's automatically reviewed. But if they don't call it a turnover, it's not reviewable??? What the hell is that supposed to achieve???

And now it happens in Championship game… thank jebus… Sea did not make it on there 4th down conversion…. To me it looked like Navarrow intercepted the ball… that non ROUGHING call on the kicker was bad too… well i wanted Sea to win.. .but that seemed cheap
I need Welker to have a TD catch in the Super Bowl & i might win there playoff Pick'm Thing… maybe this should be another post 🙂 …but on these lines… Lets start the draft 🙂
