I know a lot of us checked out GOAS and were really turned off by their mods and users… The forum is almost completely dead now. Taz left and started up his own site. Reason for my post is last season "Simon" created a app to help with fantasy drafting. I used it and really liked it. It cost me $2.00 and I give it most of the credit for winning my league.
Here's how it works. You put in your scoring/ rules/ roster requirements and it basically optimizes who you should draft every round. I know GOAS had players pre-ranked, and I believe I could edit the predictions/ rankings. My league gives QB's way to many points (6 for all td's and 5 for cracking 300 yards). It appropriately said owners should draft A.Rodger first. I also liked how it gave you rough % of the odds a player would still be available in the next round. It bases this off of the other owners updated roster. Example is I drafted Jimmy G in round 6. While the highest rated player in rounds 8,9,10, was Gronk (GOAS had Jimmy #2 and Gronk #3 for TE's) It was recommending I draft WR's and RB's. This was because I needed to fill those starting roster spots AND Gronk had an extremely high % of being available the next round for my 7.5, 8.8, and 9.5.
My problem was the draft app froze during my draft! I had to reboot the app, and start entering every draft pick during the middle of round 3. I was extremely pissed, but got it working and sailed through the draft.
Thus the reason for my post… Simon is getting ready to release this years version. I've already been in contact so I can be a tester and make sure it doesn't crash on my android. iPhones will be fine, but as most of us know, every Android has a slightly different system. The app worked great for 90% of all Androids, but I don't want the same thing to happen again next season.
But seriously it was a great app. It might have sleepers ranked high, but doesn't advise you to draft them until they become a steel. It told me to draft Graham at 6.12 and not much earlier even though GOAS had him rated as a mid 4th round player.
