…that the Steelers have two backup QBs in Byron Leftwich & Charlie Batch that are better than any QB on the entire rosters of the Chiefs, Cards, Jets & Jags?
…not sure what that says about all these tms but I'm pretty sure it's significant, whatever it is…

Your love for Leftovers and Charlie No name is much greater than mine. I think I'll take both Card QB's, both Jet QB's, maybe one of KC's and probably even Blaze Gabbert over Pitt's #2's.
BUT none of them are much better than than Pitt's #2's

Crap… Now you have me all worried about Roeth.. I'm down by 8 with Pitt's D and Roeth going tonight..
I remember reading Roeth will miss a game if his wife is in labor. I can't do any add drops due to league settings.
Hoping that water doesn't break for 24 hours!

Ravens pass D doesn't scare me anymore, but the shoulder issue does.

everybody's talking about how bad Leftwich looked but his stats were actually a little better than Ben's; both completed 50% n' Ben's ypp was lower by an ooch
all wk long all the chatter was about how Haley knew KC n' how he'd gameplan to take 'em apart, n' it never occured to anyone that they knew him too; the miserable weather took care of the rest
I'm still glad we'll have Lefty starting for us n' not Cassel …or Sanchez …or Gabbert…

Leftover has a very similar throwing motion to Timmy. Nuff said

I blame you for forcing Pitt to actually see if Batch is any better than the QB's listed above.
Seriously.. how come every time a post like this pops up it happens?
I think Mallet is probably the 2nd coming of Marino and is already a better QB than Brady… (Guess who I'm up against this week)

Agree… when i read this post i knew big ben was in trouble… it is also funny how ben's baby is due in the next week… i dont see why they dont go to the hospital & get this kid here now…
i also think David Garrad could be joining the steez… or a host of others.. i do not see charlie making it a full game if adams is at tackle

I don't think there's any worry about Ben missing w*rk for his kid's birthday anymore – more concern is he might take Christmas off…
don't believe in any jinx: the innate perversity of the universe, yes, but not a jinx…
I'd be surprised to see the Steelers sign a vet QB - traditionally, they're pretty stingy & go young n' cheap in this situation but we'll see …betcha even Plax'll be at home on the couch if he's lookin' for more than a Cotchery paycheck…
half of Cleve's sacks came in 2 gms against Cincy in wk 2 & the Cowboys' battered O-line on Sunday: I don't see their pass-rush as anything fearsome, Charlie's got a reasonably quick release n' protection shouldn't be a prob …if anything, he seems overly concerned about his own hide n' tends to get rid of the ball too soon…
