funny because if crabtree takes a step forward and Moss decides to actually be legit then Manningham will find himself as the #3 again just as he was behind Nicks and Cruz, no?

i don't think there is a clear #1 in the SF receiving corp. to wikkid's point, there is a lot of immaturity between VD, crabs, and moss. i think we're deeper than last year, but harbaugh will have his hands full pulling this talent together. and don't get me wrong, i'm glad he at least has the talent/potential to juggle. a veteran qb, like, i don't know, peyton, can keep everyone fed and maximize this potential. smith isn't strong enough, as a leader or with his arm, to keep this crew together. i'm excited, though, to watch this talent on O next year. it's basically the first time since TO left that we had any talent to speak of at receiver.

If moss plays like he cares, and I think he will, then the other wrs will fall in line. My question is who will throw the ball to them if manning is going to denver like is being reported.

I'm kinda hoping they trade for tebow, or at least go after matt moore. Smith is a decent guy but he's not the answer.
