Peyton is meeting with the Broncos today and is set to visit with the Cardinals tomorrow. After Arizona he's heading back to Miami, but that has more to do with having an offseason house there rather than any official meetings with the Dolphins.
Anyone care to wager where he ends up? Sounds like he'd like to make a pretty quick decision in the next week or so.

No wager, but my guess is either Miami or Seattle.
AZ – cheap owner
Was – wrong division, bad team
Den – no air, air
KC – could be, need more talent

Yeah, I'm thinking Miami too. They already have a quality wr in marshall, a quality ground game with bush and daniels, a good defense, and the LT manning needs to protect him.

With the Jets and Redskins having taken themselves out of the chase, when does Peyton start to worry about having options? I think he takes the first firm offer and come Monday morning he has a team.

I think VERY strongly he ends up in Arizona…
top 3 WR in Fitz, solid WR 2 in Doucet/Roberts, solid running game when not injured Wells and Williams possibly backing him up? an improving defense as well.
most importantly, a VERY winnable division for the most part (don't see SF going 13-3 strictly on defense again….)
I'd be surprised if he signs with another team besides Arizona. Even Miami I don't think he wants to face Brady twice a year anymore if he doesn't have to, but given all the positives there (Marshall, etc.) I think Miami is #2 and definitely a solid candidate to land him

Doesn't the Cardinal's O-line blow? Like one of the worst in the league? While throwing to Fitz sounds great, getting pummled while having paper-mache vertibrae does not.
Maybe Petyton will do it, but only after the Cards go out and break the bank to get Nicks and Meyers to revamp the line.

PMan's game does lessen the need for a truly superior line, but that's a worry, fo sho. may not matter, cuz i'm hearing it's all done but the shouting of a Rocky Mountain Hi for Manning. Tebye.
Interestingly, Keino's favorite columnist points out that each of the 3 teams in the running face the Pats in '12.

Yeah both adam schefter and bill polian were on Mike and Mike today and they believe he'll go to denver. It also seems that reggie wayne, dallas clark, and maybe some more of manning's former teammates will join him wherever he signs. If he does go to denver it'll be interesting to see what happens to Tebow.

Jax would be a perfect Tebowner, but there seems to be a divide between ownership & mgmt on the subject

anybody who doesn't see the niners waiting in the weeds, ready to ninja peyton manning from this list of also rans, isn't a niners fan.
but seriously, why wouldn't SF take a peak if the next best option is alex smith? he had his best season…and threw for 17 TD's. everything else but quarterback is solid-to-great. perfect landing spot for a pro-bowl QB.
make it so, jim. make it so!

Not sure a 35 year old guard seals anything, but rumors are Titans are leading.

It's being reported the niners had manning take a physical and work out for them sometime this week. There are two things that are important here: 1) according to espn he would only work out for teams he considered finalists
2)Supposedly Manning was really turned off by the dolphins partly due to all the media hoopla, so san fran being able to keep this hush hush for so long may be seen as a plus by him

I'd be most happy with this as it will have the least impact on my dynasty teams (unfortunate Alex Smith owner, eager Jake Locker owner). Plus it'll screw with the Tebowmaniacs out there something fierce, good times to come.
