Need thoughts on this guy ? I need a running back for this week .. and have been offered Owens for my 2013 2nd round pick . Just very cautious because I don't know much about this guy ? Is he worth the shot ???

Just because you're a starting RB doesn't mean jack squat. I mean if the Jaguars call me up next week you shouldn't go and use a waiver claim.
I'd rather start J.Rodgers, and Ingram… Heck I'd probably even start Brandon Jacobs over Owens… He's just not an option and you don't need to give away picks for him.
Probably on your wire and I prefer: Powell, Pierce, Turbin, Kuehn, Hillis, Forsett, and even Tolbert.

ridiculous – an exhorbitant price
in non-ppr, you oughta be getting something like Sproles (at least) for a 2nd-rd pick, not some fb that might end up riding the pine after two unsuccessful carries
there's a reason he was 4th or 5th on the depth chart & he's unlikely to ever get another carry in the nfl after this wk or next…
if you're that desperate for the 3-4 pts he's likely to get you, try instead to package that #2 with one of your WRs for an upgrade that'll be useful going forward
