Letter from the city today regarding a rental home.. Next door neighbor is a college prof a-hole.. You know the type… over educated, no people skills, and a complete donkey.

He's been pissed for 12 years as he's tried to purchase the home multiple times. I came into the picture 5 years ago and bought it for around $100K… It's probably worth around $93 – $95K today. Donkey has offered me $45K, $50K, and a final offer of $60K…

Donkey decides last week to call the city and complain about my pine branches laying under the tree, and the female city enforcement officer that is a complete biatch writes me a notice to remove the branches.

She also wants me to reinforce a privacy fence, and paint the house numbers as the current color is to close to the current siding color. The numbers and siding haven't changed in almost 30 years, but today it was deemed unsafe for occupants as pappa johns, and pizza hut will have a hard time seeing the numbers at night.

I've been contacted every week since May 1st regarding this building. I've been labeled greedy, a bastard, un christian, cold hearted, but my favorite was a capitalist.

Since when has America decided capitalism is a bad thing?

The lady who called me un-Christian called me last night asking for help in tracing the history of the property. She left a voice mail and ended with her appreciating me reading my e-mails and responding to her's

I couldn't ignore them, but my responses were straight to the point. I told her the developer is no more Christian or less Christian on wanting to make a profit, do what he thinks is bettering the neighborhood or City. Nor is her opinion on wanting to preserver the property making her more or less of a Christian.
