ya gotta hand it ta WinXP – very tough to crash; I blow progs away with regularity, but XP keeps its integrity …they've come a long ways since Win3x…

anyhoo, I bollixed FFox n' more or less took everything else out trying (unsuccessfully) to save it, but XP itself stayed alive …settled on this pg pic rather than trying to track down the others I'd found again …it w*rks…

I really gotta catch up on replies too, but w/this jeezly postingware it took me a whole afternoon just to cover half of pg1 …that makes it tough to get motivated…

Well, you were right about wardrobe though they didn't do too badly.  No way they were gonna let her show as much skin as Frazetta put in his paintings so it was a pretty nice j*b with that considered.  I'd say casting was damn good.  Caroline Munro would likely have looked more like Dejah Thoris if they'd filmed it 35 yrs ago but Lynn Collins looked seriously superior to what I'd gathered from the few pics I'd seen & I can accept her as the princess of Mars.  I mean, she'll do, if you know what I mean…

For the rest, big step up from Doug McClure (no offense to Doug, he played the hand he was dealt).  Woola was spot-on!  Tharks were a little on the skinny side but it's really tough to nitpick: an all-around excellent bit of craftsmanship fully faithful to the original.  Other than being depicted as a bit of a nancyboy himself, Eddie Burroughs would've been thrilled with it.

All in all, the best Tarzan movie ever!
