I think we're starting to get to the end of the easy numbers

still gettin' plenty of candidate pics but not nearly as many cool ones as a little while back

kinda like the decline of the Roman Empire – not instantly apparent but, if ya look, the symptoms are there…

matter o' fact, all  my current picsearches are boring…

whenever that's the case, I usually end up turning to cleanup, backup n' general database management just cuz that stuff always needs done n' it's boring anyways so if I'm gonna be bored I may as well get some good out of it…

I was gonna say 'you learn somethin' new every day', but if you, the reader, are a typical member of the general public then chances are outrageously high that you don't…

when are you all going to figure out that when someone tells you they're gonna lower your taxes, they're lying…!

matter o' fact, for the most part even rocket science don't take a rocket scientist anymore - all the tough stuff was done years ago

now it's all pretty much straightforward math n' ya could do most o' that from pre-calculated tables if ya wanted to go that route…

it's just not that tough to figure out what ya need fer escape velocity or to calculate an orbit now that all the data is firmly established

ya just plug numbers into equations; grade-school kids usedta be able to do that though nowadays I understand they'd have a tough time finding their butts with both hands if any of their adult supervision was capable of conceiving of such a daunting task which I also doubt…

I do often wonder how well equipped we are as a species to take on rats n' cockroaches on an equal footing…
