I don't really think any o' those things're gonna happen though
I was damn lucky nobody posted between last night n' this morn (I was sure DGB'd drop in, just to try n' catch back up if nothin' else) n' I don't expect to get that lucky again
more'n likely, wherever I quit tonight is as far as I get n' that's gettin' pretty close
if I couldn't live with that, I'd still be pluggin' ahead
not that I've quit just yet…

well, it was kinda bummed that I didn't make it
on the other hand, it was a huge relief to get it over with, and I'd already pretty much concluded I wasn't very likely make it n' wasn't gonna knock myself out trying
you wouldn't have any recollection of what ahelms put up at Rockys, wouldja? I'm sure he was over 250 but I can't remember how far he got n' suspect he might've broke 300 …it'd be nice to have the record…

naw, that's typically the way streaks come to an end; it's what the thread's here for, to barge right in n' post away
now I got the leisure to contemplate an appropriate millstone pic instead o' havin' to rush it to keep the streak goin' …n' I can take a l'il break from paddin' posts, which I been doin' for most o' the last 2 days…

my extensive research indicates that plenty of people have already done graphics for 'post 1000' n' some of 'em are quite good
my pride tells me I should try to surpass 'em all but my laziness tells me there's no need to spend a lot of time n' duplicated effort on something that's already been done well
it's the dilemma that pretty much defines my life…
