Denver has a nice playoff sched, but my money's on Knowshon suddenly remembering he's Knowshon – I think his promotion has less to do with Hillman's pass-protection & more to do with John Fox hating the idea of promoting a rook over a vet. Unless Moreno can keep up his level of play, I'd expect Hillman to advance to at least an equal timeshare within 2 wks. Likely Knowshon comes back down to Earth against the Bucs.
DWms has a reasonable slate of opponents over the next month. Carolina's offense seems to be coming together but his upside within it limited. I expect he'll be startable going forward but is highly unlikely to have more than 2 nice gms & there's no predicting which one or two those might be.
Jon Dwyer's got considerable upside but the tm is a mess. If the Steelers can get healthy for the playoff stretch, he could be a high-end RB2. Things are starting to look up but they have so many injuries to recover from that I have to doubt they can get enough of 'em back to matter.
Wells plays in a bad offense with a bad QB n' a tough schedule. It's always possible for anybody to go off in any given wk, but I don't see him as anyone to lose sleep over.
Vereen's a wild-card. He's no worse than 2nd-best in terms of pure talent among this bunch and his possible upside has gotta be the highest. There are some signs there that the Pats know what he can do & to some certain extent are willing to give him a chance to do it. That said, the Pats offense is so heavily gameplanned every wk that it takes at least a month of gms to spot what might look like a trend. If you can read BillyB's mind, then you're already so far ahead you don't have to worry about who your opponent is starting.
All in all, you really can't predict who's gonna get hurt & all of these guys have some chance of performing against you at some pt. Unless you know of a likely playoff opponent who's currently hurting at RB, I wouldn't waste any time worrying about it. The risk is probably greater than getting struck by lightning but it's also probably impossible to say by how much…
