WR Reggie Wayne has signed a new 3 year deal ($17 million) to stay with the Colts.  It was Wayne's first time being an unrestricted free agent.  So much for talk of him reuniting with Peyton wherever he end up.

This strikes me a completely underwhelming.  I don't think that he even took any meetings with other teams.  Have his skills dropped off that much or did he just want to stick with what was comfortable, likely ending his career during a rebuilding phase.

Hail, hail…

either people stopped renewing season's tickets in light of the Colts fire sale or Luckie called & said "wtf, ol poops – youre leaving me no one to throw to but Concussion Boy?!?!" or both.

It stops Luck from pulling a Gabbert.   Having no weapons and lowering confidence.  Now, you have Reggie Wayne as the primary target.  Wayne will be undervalued in fantasy, I will try to nab him plenty.

I thougtht that Wayne would be able to do better money-wise someplace else and not have to go through the rookie-QB growing pains and the very likely prospect that the Colts may still be a crappy team for the next couple of seasons.

If there are rookie QB growing pains.  We've had a string of rookie QBs make their top WRs fantasy productive.

Considering there were younger quality wrs available in fa as well as this is a good draft for wr, I think that's about the best wayne could've done.  And as shane said it gives Indy a legit weapon for Luck.   Good deal for both sides.
