I thought that some of you might be interested in checking out the results of a dynasty rookie draft. This is a 12 team, 45 player roster, full IDP league, with contract years/salary cap, flexible offensive and defensive alignments, and variable PPR.

DGB… I will be starting a dynasty league draft this weekend… we will have 7 off & 7 Def… i was wondering what you would draft first … non PPR.. all TDs & INTS 6pts… sacks 4 …tackles for loss 3…tackles 1… rest pretty standard
1 Qb 1 rb,wr, te… 2 flex rb,wr,te
1 Dt/DE 1 LB 1 s,Cb…. 3 flex dt,de,lb,s, or CB

Definitely like what you did in the 2nd there. Jeffery could pay big dividends.

Am I reading that right? You get 6 points for a TD scored and 6 points for a INT by a defensive player? That's what I call big play IDP scoring.
Even with that set up, I'd still go offense in the first round and would expect it to go pretty normally. I'd probably want to land Rodgers or Megatron in the first (and then draft the other position in the 2nd to come away with a top 5 QB & WR). There's generally more stability with offensive player production year to year than with IDPs. I'd focus on QBs, WRs, DEs, and LBs.

Thanks. I have a feeling about Pead there in STL and hope it pays off. We're just starting the 4th round now. I took Bernard Pierce and was surprised he was still there (I already own Ray Rice).

the draft is off & rolling.. i didnt think there was any big suprises in the first 9 picks… Rogers first… foster… newton,stafford, breez, brady, McCoy, Rice… so with the 9th i took Megatron.. .the next guy took R. GriffinIII… this might be fun league after all… have to see who goes off the board as it swings around but… i was thinking Gronk if he is there.. 16 team draft
Thinking QB in the third as the bottom half of the draft wont be picking any

I like you getting Megatron there for sure. Depending on the next 15 picks go I'd think about a QB there if the production/drop off warrant it. I'd also consider Jimmy Grahm, as I seriously doubt that Gronk will be there.

Gronk is off the board along with M Ryan… i traded away 4,6,8 for 2,18,20.. which i like… so i will have 2 picks coming up in about 8 picks.. was thinking crazy like AP & Forte
