Was wondering what you guys are hearing as landing spots… today guy called in radio show saying he should come to Blitzburgh cause we could have the virgin & bathroom burner on same squad
I think if Tebow could be worth a 4-6th round pick… I think he would make a great BACKUP QB… teams would not be ready for that… he could also help your goal line O… & double as team Chaplin when needed.. i wouldnt mind him in Burgh… we could use help at all those spots

John Fox did an excellent job of adjusting mid-season, but an entire rethink of offensive football is what its gonna take to make the Tebow magic work for a franchise on a consistent basis. Something like a double wildcat. Imagine grabbing Tebow from the Broncs & drafting Russell Wilson for a two-headed quarterback, re-establishing the old fullback/halfback relationship but having both of them with throwing responsibilities, with, say, a tailback/wideout type like Percy Harvin as the 3rd member of the backfiled. You could have either Tebow or Wilson under center with the other as a tail & Harvin as a halfback, both QBs in a shotgun T, all sorts of stuff. Try blitzing that, NFL DCs!
I also like something floated yesterday – the Patriots sending Ryan Mallet for Tebow. Saviorboy might actually enjoy caddying for Brady as he learns what real QBing is about while BB/McD figure out some hybrid position from which to pull the odd miracle with their new toy. And Mallet gets a couple years more skoolin behind a legend, steppin in if the neck goes on PMan.

I don't really care all that much, but people have also thrown out the Florida destinations if for no other reason than to sell tickets. New Jags owner Kahn said that he would have taken Tebow in the first round… Miami's missed out on the significant FAs QB (David Garrard doesn't count)…

wouldnt take much – those who have known me for a while know that ive salivated over an all-hybrid backfield since the late-70 Patriots had running QB Steve Grogan, college QB Andy Johnson @ HB, FB/TB Sambam Cunningham and UTenn RB-turned-WR Stanley Morgan, but did nothing with them.

No he doesn't, that said he's an underrated qb. But I will admit I was shocked that Miami signed him.

The teams talked about going after tebow are miami, jax, green bay, the jets, and the pats.
Personally I think philly would be a great spot for him.
Also word is miami may use their first to draft taneyhill instead of worrying about adding another veteran qb.

Denver just traded him to the Jets for a 4th round pick. Sanchez dynasty owners start worrying.

Hold yer horses for a sec… the trade has hit the pause button. After initially accepting the deal, the Jet now realize that they are on the hook for $5 million. Apparently the Jets didn't read the details of Tebow's contract as closely as other teams did.

I know espn is reporting that denver let Tebow choose but listening to his press conference last night on the NFL network and he specifically said they talked to his agent but they had all the power where he went and he didn't have any real input.
