No one ever sends me trade offers, but I got one tonight!
I'd get Chris Johnson and give Cedric Benson and Lamar Miller
1 PPR.. I know almost nothing about CJ other than his owners hate him. Lamar doesn't do much for me, but this Bush owner would like him.

That's not a terrible offer. Not wonderful either.
Johnson has no O-line to speak of. Some have questioned his effort & intensity as well but that's mostly meaningless noise – bottom line is he's getting tackled in the backfield. A lot. On top of that, he's got a sched ripe with tms that are tough to run on. No doubt the O-line will gel somewhat n' the OC will make adj but when? Many owners are hoping to get pennies on the dollar from his draft value at this point.
That's the case here. It's not like he's asking for the moon. Benson's a retread playing for a team who also has O-line probs. They're having more trouble with protection than opening lanes n' the offense is considerably more creative so he's been able to rack up some pts. But the talent level is obviously not comparable. In addition, a healthy Starks or Alx Grn could easily cut into Ced's w*rkload while it seems less likely Ringer&co are gonna do that to Johnson.
Miller's more of a talent but still 3rd string at this pt, apparently 'cause he hasn't learned how to pass-block. I remember that took a rook Clinton Portis about 10 wks to get it. Some guys don't get it 'til next season n' some few never get any good at it at all. For now he's behind Bush n' Thomas with correspondingly minimal value.
With Hillis hurt, Benson's clearly your RB2 for the time being. So, if you take the offer you've got at least a few rough wks ahead. A drop in production from that spot is a real danger. But it's not like you're giving up a ton. If (a fairly sizeable "if") the Titans can fix their running gm, you come out way, way ahead. If Johnson's actually gone stiff, you lose – not as much as you stand to gain but a loss you might feel. Not a bad risk at all but it is a risk so you have to decide if you wanna gamble or stand pat with whatcha got
Depends on how you feel about it..

…or, if you prefer it simpler…
call it risking a twenty holding a middlin' hand on a pot with mebbe $200 in it – a fair gamble with a potentially nice payoff, but can you afford to lose the $20 if the cards run that way…?

I just can't do it… Sucks… CJ has cracked 60 yards something like 4 of his last 20. He scored a decent amount of PPR points last season, but most of them came in 3 big games against 3 bad defenses.
Ultimately it came down to believing Cedric will have decent games this week against NO and Indy next week. In other words I don't think he'll lose trade value over the next two weeks.
On the other side I don't think CJ will increase his value much playing Houston and then Minny followed by Pitt and Buff.
