What do you guys think?
- Harvin traded to Seattle
- Boldin traded to the Niners
- Bowe resigns with the Chiefs
- Hartline resigns with Miami
Still to be determined:
- Mike Wallace
- Wes Welker
- Greg Jennings
- Danny Amendola

love the first two for their prospective teams. been a huge fan of Harvin since UFla & happy to see both him getting a put-up-or-shut-up opportunity and Carroll having his 1st hybrid-type since Bush @ USC. just as the Falcons did to get Julio Jones (tho that was smarter cuz, as a draft pick, it would be a few yrs before it had cap implications) i love it when teams recognize theyre one right player away from contending for the whole schmeer & sell out to get that guy. perfect compliment to Lynch in the backfield, so i foresee lots of shifts employed to create space for their munchkin QB. i thought Wilson was being overrated in '13, but his team just caught up.
it might have been smarter to take your chances on Boldin as a FA & save a couple mil (top teams gotta be careful not to use so much cap space that they cant pay to keep the guys who got em there) but he's a perfect piece. this really moves VD up since he'll be free from having to be the 9ers spot guy.
Bowe & Hartline were necessary keeps for their teams – it would have been ridiculous both to run Reid's offense wwithout anyone to catch the ball or for the Phins to sign a big FA WR and put him on the same island of tripleteams as Hartline was last yr. complements/coverage is more important than talent these days.
i wish both Welker & the Pats would come in from the cold. Wes aint gettin what he deserves from the Pats cuz the market for him doesnt back it up and Belichick has got to stop wondering if Edelman would be just as good @ 1/3 of the cost & sign the greatest system player the greatest system has ever seen. nufced

Wallace has ended up in Miami with Tannehill.
Saw some rumors of the Vikings talking to Jennings with also a return to Green Bay not being ruled out. Money is obviously first and foremost, but Jennings may be thinking about who he'll want to catch passes from.

Welker signs w the Broncos for a paltry 2 years/$12 million to be their 3rd receiver. Absolutely crazy.
Ammendola signs with the Patriots for 5 years/$31 million.

reeeeeeeeeeeeeeedickless – amendola cant carry wes's wee jock. i could see the pats calling welker's bluff and going with edelman (who they think could be as good) & possibly spending the welker dough on jennings to stretch the field, but this paying-more-for-less is simply unPatriotic. brady's gotta be wondering what he gave up all that green for. bye, Wes, thank you & i'll be rooting just a lil bit for the broncs when we meet.

I take it you feel that Brady & Belichik had little or nothing to do with Welker's success…
